Este nuevo NAP de Terremark, cuya construcción está previsto que termine en el último trimestre del año fiscal 2011, se convertirá en el centro europeo de la compañía, permitiendo a la compañía ofrecer un paquete completo de servicios líder en el sector, incluyendo el cloud computing y el hosting gestionado, a partir de sus instalaciones de última generación.
Mediante el contrato de arrendamiento establecido con Digital Realty y el estrecho trabajo con el Grupo Schiphol, este centro de datos clave proveerá refrigeración de alta densidad, energía, redundancia y sostenibilidad. Además, Terremark reutiliza el calor disipado generado por la instalación, garantizando así que las aplicaciones críticas estén disponibles gracias a la optimización de la eficiencia energética. El plazo inicial del acuerdo es de 15 años y ofrece la posibilidad de ampliarlo otros 50 años más, siendo la empresa la que posee pleno control de la instalación. Además, Terremark tiene opciones para construir dos instalaciones adicionales, de 50.000 metros cuadrados en una zona adyacente al NAP de Amsterdam.

Junto con una robusta infraestructura física, el NAP de Amsterdam contará con conectividad masiva a cientos de redes globales mediante un nodo de AMS-IX. Terremark Worldwide crece un 34% en 2008
Alcanza una facturación de 250,5 millones de dólares
Madrid – 8 de junio de 2009 - Terremark Worlwide, S.A. (NASDAQ:TMRK), uno de los proveedores líderes de servicios de infraestructura IT, acaba de cerrar su año fiscal 2008 con una facturación que ha superado ampliamente las previsiones al alcanzar los 250,5 millones de euros.
“Los resultados tan positivos que acabamos de obtener son un claro reflejo de la capacidad de la compañía para crecer y ejecutar estrategias, y subraya el gran valor que supone nuestra amplia gama de servicios para CIOs de grandes empresas y organismos oficiales” señala Manuel D.
